Introduction

Geely AGMC, the authorized dealer of Geely Auto in the UAE, has launched the Geely Monjaro, which is the brand's latest high-end flagship SUV. This remarkable vehicle is built on the advanced Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) and offers an exceptional blend of safety, performance, intelligence, and efficiency, all at an affordable price point.

Technical Specs of the new Geely Monjaro

Geely Monjaro is powered by a powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection engine co-developed by Volvo and Geely, it produces 235 horsepower (175kW) and 350 Nm of torque, paired with an Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from zero to 100kmph in just 7.7 seconds. The SUV has a 62-litre fuel tank capacity.

The flagship SUV also gets BorgWarner's sixth-generation four-wheel-drive system (4WD) that allows for a 50:50 front/rear torque distribution, and users can choose from various driving modes, including ECO, NORM, SPORT, SNOW, and OFFROAD.

Inside the cabin, the Monjaro comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital panoramic multimedia display, a 10.25 or 12.3-inch TFT instrument console and a head-up display. It also supports wireless charging and gets a powerful 10-speaker high-performance BOSE premium sound system, the SUV boasts engine noise reduction and dual-layered soundproofing, offering passengers a concert hall-like acoustic experience.

The Monjaro's interior harmoniously fuses Eastern and Western design, balancing modernity with classic refinement through meticulous attention to detail. Custom suede elements offer a touch of luxury, and the seats incorporate Chinese-inspired classical knots for added elegance. The five-seater SUV flaunts a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

Advanced Safety Features on the New Geely Monjaro

The Monjaro boasts an impressive array of industry-leading safety features including the Highway Assisted Driving system that actively monitors the vehicle's surroundings, traffic alert and autonomously changes lanes, enhancing safety on the road.

Safety is a top priority with features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection with front and rear collision warning, emergency stopper, central glass darkening, six airbags ABS brakes, ISOFIX baby seats, and a 540-degree transparent chassis to monitor conditions beneath the vehicle.

Exterior details of the Geely Monjaro SUV

The design of the Monjaro emphasizes both its robustness and spaciousness. Its exterior exudes a commanding presence with clean and captivating aesthetics. The strong bodylines enhance its overall appealing and attractive style, making a bold statement on the road.

At the front, the Monjaro features a large grille, outlined with chrome. The headlights are accompanied by two slim DRLs which are placed horizontally on each side. At the rear, the roof spoiler gives a sporty touch, while the clean design of the tailgate and rear lights contribute to the aesthetics of the vehicle.

The flagship SUV has muscular wheel arches and comes fitted with 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels, depending on the variant. It comes with a wide 1610mm wheel track and a long 2845mm wheelbase. 

The Monjaro is available in two exclusive colours, Matte Grey and Turquoise Blue. Additionally, a special launch edition is also available with a stylish Matte Grey exterior and an elegant Caramel interior finish.

Launch and Availability

The new Geely Monjaro price in UAE starts from AED 123,900* for the Monjaro GK trim,  AED 133,900* for the Monjaro GF trim while the range-topping GF+ is available for AED 138,900*. The Monjaro range is up on sale across all the Geely dealerships in the UAE.

The launch offer also includes a three-year finance package at just 0.99%, free registration and window tinting, a five-year or 100,000km service contract, and a five-year or 150,000km warranty.
