The all-electric 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ is a full-size luxury SUV that offers a driving range of 700km.


Cadillac Middle East has revealed the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, the electric SUV that combines the brand's iconic design with the latest automotive technology. The vehicle boasts a striking interior and exterior design, delivering uncompromising performance while producing no tailpipe emissions. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ debuts as the first full-size SUV from Cadillac built on an all-electric platform. The electric version of Escalade claims to deliver a driving range of 700km on a single charge.

Technical Specs of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ

The Cadillac Escalade IQ is built on General Motors' (GM) pioneering electric vehicle (EV) propulsion architecture, the Ultium Platform and also integrates GM's Ultifi software platform, which provides continuous software updates to its expansive technologies.

The fully-electric Escalade IQ is driven by a two-electric motor system with eAWD that delivers 750 horsepower and 1064 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in less than 5 seconds and has a towing capacity of up to 8,000 pounds (approx 3628kg). The SUV promises a driving range of 700km.

The car features Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Adaptive Air Ride Suspension that enables the SUV to lower 2 inches and raise 1 inch. It also gets additional features like standard four-wheel steering, optional Cadillac arrival mode and low ride mode that enhance the electric SUV's capabilities and help the vehicle achieve a turn diameter of 6.5 feet.

Escalade IQ includes Super Cruise as standard, it is the industry's first hands-free driver assistance technology and uses real-time cameras, sensors, GPS, and detailed LiDAR map data to provide a hands-free driving experience. Additionally, Escalade IQ offers One-Pedal Driving and an on-demand Variable Regen for a more engaging drive.

The new Ultium Energy Recovery system utilizes a heat pump to optimize range by efficiently transferring energy between the battery and cabin, minimizing high-voltage battery use for climate control.

Battery and Charging details of the Cadillac Escalade IQ

The Escalade IQ feeds on a 24-mode Ultium battery pack with more than 200kWh of energy. It's compatible with 800-volt DC fast charging, the fastest current option, offering up to 160 km of range in just 10 minutes of charging.


Interior details of the all-electric 2025 Escalade IQ

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is a full-size SUV with an open, spacious interior infused with advanced technologies from the ultra-luxurious Cadillac CELESTIQ. It is available with two trim options - Luxury and Sport.

Inside the Escalade IQ, a pillar-to-pillar 55-inch diagonal curved LED display runs across the dashboard with an integrated instrument console and passenger's display with the next-gen Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and built-in Google Assistant. The SUV gets a standard 19-speaker and optional 36-speaker AKG studio reference audio system. 

The second-row passengers also get 12.6-inch-diagonal personal screens, a rear command centre screen, ambient lighting, dual wireless phone charging pads, USB-C and HDMI ports, massaging seats and headrest speakers. The luxury SUV incorporates power-folding third-row seats that allow seating for up to seven passengers and a panoramic fixed glass roof that spans the first and second rows.

The cabin embraces modern colour combinations and contrasting elements, reinforcing Cadillac's distinct character, the interior trim features delicate detailing in the daylight with laser-etched patterns accenting the wood panels which light up at night for a unique look and a distinctive aura.


Safety features on the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ

Escalade IQ also features a suite of standard active safety and driver assistance11 features, with highlights including Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, HD Surround Vision, Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking.


Exterior details of the 2025 Escalade IQ

The SUV features a powerful, bold and muscular stance with sculptured bodywork, the silhouette and the familiar front-end design of the car are easily recognizable as Escalade. The car has a sleeker profile than the standard Escalade, making it the most aerodynamic SUV from the brand.

The elongated, dynamic hood and ending with a faster-sloping roofline at the rear, contribute to the vehicle's aero and sporty appeal. It has a vertically placed sleek LED head and taillights, accompanied by DRLs and slim light bars on the tailgate.

All four doors on the vehicle open and close with a simple button press. When enabled, the driver's door conveniently automatically opens as the driver nears with the key fob. Additionally, there's a spacious front-storage compartment located beneath the hood, that offers a 340-litre storage capacity.

As the Escalade IQ gets brushed aluminium metallic finishes on Luxury and a darkened metal finish on Sport. Customers can also choose a striking two-tone look with the optional black-painted roof, contrasting with six body colours, including black. It comes equipped with 24-inch wheels with chunky 35-inch tyres.


Launch and Availability

The Escalade IQ will begin production in the summer of 2024 at GM’s Factory ZERO Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan, which was renovated with a $2.2 billion investment to serve as the launchpad for GM’s EV strategy. Components for production will be sourced both domestically and internationally.
