You Can Now Order The New Skoda Kodiaq In The UAE

It has been a while since Skoda introduced a new vehicle here in the Middle East. We know it makes good products which are ‘Simply Clever’. Taking this design philosophy forward, Skoda has now launched its new Kodiaq in the UAE.

For a mid-size SUV, the Kodiaq is definitely a looker. Its bold design, sleek lines and crystalline angles, make it look like one modern SUV. Skoda has clearly done a lot of work to make this happen. The ‘Simply Clever’ design language takes over the cabin as well. It is spacious, luxurious, and ergonomically designed; everything seems to be placed exactly where they should be.

The new Skoda Kodiaq comes with two engine options – a 1.4-litre unit that has been tuned to produce 150 bhp, and a 2.0-litre engine that churns out a healthy 180 horses. Both the engines are turbocharged. The smaller capacity engine is the first one to feature 4×4 capabilities along with a 7-seater SUV. Another first that we come to see, is Skoda’s new dual clutch transmission. Skoda says that these engines will provide an optimal balance between power and fuel efficiency.

Skoda has also included its magnificent infotainment system in the new Kodiaq. It features a 9.2-inch screen, 64GB of storage, DVD and optional LTE module for high-speed internet access. The Wi-Fi hotspot allows passengers to browse the internet, stream music or view their emails while on the go.

The starting price of the new Skoda Kodiaq is 110,000 AED (including VAT). It is now available to order across the region.
