Al Masaood Automobiles, the official distributor for Nissan in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Western Region, has unveiled its newly upgraded showroom and service center in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. This flagship facility, now recognized as the world’s largest Nissan service center, also serves as an advanced Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) NEXT-certified showroom, emphasizing a digital-first, customer-centred approach.

The grand opening was officiated by Makoto Uchida, Nissan Motor Corporation’s President and CEO, alongside His Excellency Masaood Ahmed Al Masaood, Chairman of Al Masaood Group. The event was attended by Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President for the Middle East, KSA, CIS - Nissan, INFINITI; Irfan Tansel, CEO of Al Masaood Automobiles; and senior executives from Nissan’s global and regional teams. During the ceremony, Uchida presented Al Masaood Automobiles with a commemorative plaque acknowledging the showroom’s NRC NEXT certification and the service center’s record size, underscoring the partnership’s focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.

The Mussafah showroom offers an immersive customer experience, incorporating interactive digital zones, a vehicle customization area, and enhanced digital displays that enrich each visit. Al Masaood Automobiles has embraced Nissan’s global NRC concept, which focuses on providing a seamless and consistent brand experience for customers across every interaction.
Among the innovative features in the 17,000-square-meter facility is the unique ‘Nissan Service Drive,’ marking its debut in the UAE. This aftersales program delivers a proactive, tailored experience, offering customers a range of services designed to simplify their journey, from vehicle servicing to maintenance. With 120 workshop bays, the facility is equipped for high-volume servicing while maintaining customer comfort. The premises include a dedicated waiting area where customers can view their vehicles during servicing and private lounges for female guests.

Aligned with sustainability goals, the new facility incorporates high-performance glazing to reduce energy use for temperature control, LED lighting that cuts energy consumption by up to 90%, and upgraded air conditioning systems that maximize efficiency. Additionally, sensor-based utilities reduce water waste, collectively achieving a 30% reduction in power usage.

With over 60 skilled technicians and cutting-edge equipment, the Mussafah service center is equipped to provide premium maintenance and repair services for Nissan customers. A fully digitized service system simplifies appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and payments, enhancing convenience.
