Mitsubishi has released a teaser picture of its new electric concept that it will be showcasing at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show this year. This concept car is believed to be an electric vehicle and performance oriented. Mitsubishi will reveal all the details in the Show.
Being a teaser picture, not much has been shown to the world. But whatever is visible, looks pretty delicious. The centre of attention in the picture is the new full-LED tail light. It looks super cool and futuristic. Then there's the sloping roofline making the car look sportier. Also, the floating C-pillar design is something that we'll definitely like to see in the production model. It's fantastic. The embossed company logo sits boldly right in the centre of the rear side of the EV. We can also spot an outside rear-view mirror in the picture. Perhaps, that isn't just a mirror but a camera.
Mitsubishi says, “The concept will wave the flag under new circumstances to usher a new era of long-term growth and sustainable development, returning to where it belongs to better embrace the future." The car will be featuring an all-electric motor which will drive all the wheels. This is certainly an indication that this car wouldn't be a slouch. Also, it will be featuring Mitsubishi's 'Advanced Artificial Intelligence Technology' (autonomous driving) which justifies the camera on the car.
The e-Evolution concept will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show, which is scheduled to be happening at the end of next month. This will be a milestone event for Mitsubishi.
