Al Masaood Automobiles Renault received the distinction of being the top-performing Renault dealership in the world for 2019. The Abu Dhabi-based showroom registered 40 percent sales growth year-on-year in 2019, edging out other Renault dealerships in the UAE and the world.

Renault had initiated a re-formulated marketing strategy focused on local retail and fleet customers across the UAE. Renault Abu Dhabi’s sales and aftersales staff also displayed strong commitment and drive in pulling new customer demographic to the brand. The teams also aimed at sustaining business through diverse offerings and value-added services.

H.E. Masaood Ahmed Al Masaood, Chairman of Al Masaood Group, said on the occasion, “We are proud to receive this distinction, which consolidates our position as a global benchmark across the thriving automotive market. The award serves as a testament to the strong dedication displayed by our staff and their commitment to offering top-line services to our customers. Being awarded the “Renault Global Partners Award, P.A.R.I.S. Challenge” emphasizes our success following decades of hard work and dedication applied by everybody involved with our day-to-day operations.”

Renault Abu Dhabi devised interactive campaigns and promotions to enter new customer segments. The French carmaker also expanded its portfolio, maximising exposure via digital channels. The company also inaugurated the ‘R-Store’, a high-tech facility showcasing Renault’s lofty standards and best practices. These efforts resulted in a surge in domestic sales and a customer base becoming more diverse compared to previous years.

“It is very gratifying to have received this prestigious global award from Renault, as it recognises the tremendous efforts that the Al Masaood Automobiles’ team has invested to grow and expand the Renault brand in Abu Dhabi,” says Irfan Tansel, CEO of Al Masaood Automobiles. “It is also very pleasing to see how our Abu Dhabi customers have rekindled their love for these innovative French cars and started building stronger engagement and affinity to the brand.

“For us, it does not end here. We are committed to further reinforcing the Renault brand through our top-line products and services, and elevating our customers’ experiences to bringing the business to newer paths of success,” Tansel adds.

Congratulating Renault Abu Dhabi, Renault Middle East & PAcific MD Bernard Chretien said, “We congratulate our partners at Al Masaood Automobiles – Renault Abu Dhabi for earning the top honours at this year’s P.A.R.I.S. Global Challenge – a remarkable tribute that demonstrates the company’s continuing efforts to consolidate the Renault brand in Abu Dhabi.
