Hyundai Motor Company has officially released pictures of the all-new Santa Fe mid-size SUV, marking the first significant update since 2018. The fifth-generation Santa Fe has now evolved into a bigger and bolder SUV with a refreshed exterior and a new more spacious interior, still carrying forward its signature 'nature-meets-city' appeal.

Hyundai hasn't provided any details on its drivetrain, Santa Fe's predecessors were fuel powered but looking at the current trends in the market we expect it to be either a hybrid or an EV.

Exterior Design Of The Upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe

The Korean carmaker has designed the new Santa Fe with a sturdy and elegantly designed exterior, Santa Fe boasts a bigger rear cargo capacity that caters to outdoor lifestyles and urban activities more effectively. The new design of the Santa Fe features a boxy shape and a distinctive stance because of its lengthy wheelbase and bigger tailgate area, the car gets geometrical design elements all over the body.

From the front, the new Santa Fe looks massive because of its high hood, the vehicle gets H-shaped headlamps with an illuminated light stripe joining both headlamps. It features a unique mesh grille and the fender design has sharply defined wheel arches. The lower front bumper features an H-motif that compliments the H-shaped headlights and increases the visual appeal. These H-shaped design elements symbolize Hyundai’s ‘H’ emblem.

The new Santa Fe's rear design features a larger tailgate, which adds to its overall simplicity while maintaining a balanced exterior design. The H-shaped taillights at the back also complement the front H-lights. This distinctive design gives the car a unique and recognizable road presence. A long and bold roof line accompanied by roof rails, and muscular fenders fitted with 21-inch wheels contributes to the robust look of the SUV.

Interior Design Of The All-New Santa Fe

The interior has been crafted and optimized with an emphasis on spaciousness and functionality. The large tailgate when open, provides users with a terrace-like space that can be utilized whenever, wherever or however you require while the fully foldable second and third-row seats provide class-leading interior space.

Whether it's for outdoor adventures or urban commuting or just carrying a lot of luggage, the new Santa Fe promises a practical and comfortable experience. You can use the rear area for a variety of purposes such as grocery shopping, home repair projects, sports and recreation, gardening, family vacations, carrying adventure gear and pet transportation.

The interior of the new Hyundai Santa Fe is luxurious and elegantly designed in contrast with the robust exterior design. The interior design features horizontal and vertical lines and continues with an H-motif design on the dashboard and air vents. The infotainment system has a 12.3-inch curved digital display and a wireless charger is also available.

The brightly coloured seats and headlining create a sense of spaciousness while the soft-touch wood pattern garnish and Nappa leather seats with exquisite embroidery provide a sophisticated look. It uses environment-friendly materials such as leatherette for the crash pad, door trim covers and recycled plastic for the headliner, floor mats, and seatbacks.

The Exterior and Interior Colour Options

The interior and exterior colours of the car are inspired by natural light, highlighting its unique character. These hues not only add inspiration to daily activities but also add vibrance to your outdoor activities and city travels.

The world premiere of the all-new Santa Fe will take place in August on Hyundai's YouTube channel and probably that's when the technical details like drivetrains will be revealed by the automaker.

A word from the Hyundai Officials

SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center said, "The all-new Santa Fe is an SUV that finds a perfect balance between city life and the great outdoors, handling everything from busy family itineraries to car camping adventures. With its longer wheelbase, roomy interior and terrace-like tailgate space, the new Santa Fe leans into its SUV strengths to offer more versatility than ever before as well as a premium customer experience."
