Nissan's Semi-autonomous And All-wheel Drive 2019 Altima Unveiled

Nissan has uncovered its brand-new 2019 Altima at the 2018 New York Auto Show. The car is said to be launched first in the US market and should reach the Middle East area by the end of this year.
Nissan has strictly followed its Vmotion 2.0 design language while creating the new 2019 Altima. It is a striking-looking car. The sharp lines can be seen flowing from the front to the rear. The new model is also wider and longer but sits a bit lower than the previous model.
The interiors of the new 2019 Altima is loaded with features. Nissan has given the new Altima semi-autonomous capabilities. It is blessed with ProPilot Assist system which helps the car hold its lane in stop-go city traffic. This feature is not kept as standard and customers can enjoy it by opting for the higher-end variants. There are other safety features onboard like automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and Intelligent Driver Alertness. All of these comes as standard.
In terms of engine options, we get a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine that is tuned to produce 188 bhp and 244 Nm. There's an option of picking up all-wheel drive system with this engine. The system is programmed to be front-biased, but when needed, it can provide 50% of the power output to the set of rear wheels. It is further aided by a limited slip differential. The other engine is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit that is going to replace the previous V6 engine. It produces 248 bhp of power. All the engines come with CVT.
