If you are in the market looking for a family SUV that stands apart from the crowd, Nissan might have just the car for you. The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder Midnight Edition is set to go on sale in the UAE from July 2018.
The longer name more than hints at what the car offers. The Midnight Edition Pathfinder gets a blacked-out V-Motion grille in addition to the rear spoiler, roof rails, and mirror caps. The 20-inch alloys of the SUV are also finished in gloss black.
Inside, there is not much change in the design of the cabin and layout. Seven seats are standard fare distributed across three rows. The third row featuring EZ Flex seating allows for easy access even if a kiddy seat is fitted in the second row. The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder comes with Tri-Zone Climate Control, Bluetooth connectivity, and a family entertainment package. Previously, Nissan fitted the SUV with WVGA screens. The Pathfinder Midnight Edition gets QHD screen that are an inch larger than before at eight inches.
Automobiles of today are loaded with a whole suite of safety features and the Pathfinder falls into line with its extensive feature list. As part of the Nissan intelligent Mobility Package, the SUV gets Intelligent Cruise Control and Intelligent 4x4. Emergency braking, Blind-Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Forward Collision Warning systems are also part of the package.
The Pathfinder Midnight Edition also benefits from a slightly updated motor that gets 50% new parts. As a result, one can expect a minor power bump as well as increased fuel efficiency. The engine is mated to Nissan's proprietary XTronic transmission.
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder Midnight Edition will arrive on dealer floors as early as July 2018. Expect to shell out AED 161,906 ($44,080) for the rather handsome SUV.
