Maserati Unveils Limited Edition Ghibli Ribelle For Europe, Middle East And African Markets
Maserati has unveiled a new addition to its mid-size executive saloon. Named as the Ghibli Ribelle, the limited edition variant sports cosmetic exclusivities with unique paint and interior trims.
The company has clarified that the mechanics of the car has been retained from the Ghibli and that the new model is purely based on new cosmetics. New in the paint palette is the mica black paint finish. The car sits on a set of 19-inch wheels which are also painted with the same black and features a contrasting red laser etched highlights on five of the spokes, matching with the red brake callipers.
The black and red theme has been carried forward on the inside with a red dashboard, instrument cluster and the door armrests, while the rest remains black. The seats carry a black and red dual tone with contrasting stitching. Also adding to the exclusivity is the 'Ribelle' plaque that sits on the centre console.
New additions have been made to the standard Ghibli's standard kit list, which includes Matrix LED headlights, a sunroof, a Harman Kardon sound system and laminated privacy glass for better thermal and sound insulation.
Only 200 of the models will exit the production ramp and will be on sale in Europe, Middle East and Africa Region from October. The car will be available with all the three variants of the Ghibli. However, we can expect only the two petrol engines in the Middle East. The three 3.0-litre V6 engine variants available on the limited edition offering include a 271bhp diesel and two petrol engines with 345bhp and 424bhp respectively.
The price tag on the new Ribelle is not yet known. However, if reports are to be believed, the car is expected to be kept higher than the Ghibli Diesel GranSport which stands at $77,691,
