Lotus Cars showed its commitment to the UAE by officially inaugurating a brand new showroom in Dubai. The Lotus Dubai showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road is the result of a partnership between the British sports car maker and Adamas Motors.
Marcus Blake, Commercial Director of Lotus Group plc and His Excellency Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially opened the showroom's doors to the public. Present at the occasion were esteemed guests, key media, and senior management from across the Lotus operations.
The 5,000 square-foot showroom is capable of displaying up to 10 cars at a time, currently housing a selection of cars carefully curated and specified to suit the aspirations of Lotus' UAE customers. The limited-edition Exige Cup 430 Type 25 is on proud display at the showroom, with three of the 25 units making their way to the Gulf countries. The only 3-Eleven 430 in the Middle East finished in the signature black-and-gold livery as well as the internationally acclaimed and fastest production Lotus ever, the Evora GT 430 are also at the new showroom.
Marcus Blake commented at the inauguration of the showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road: “On behalf of Group Lotus, I welcome Adamas Motors to our brand, in our 70th Anniversary year. Adamas Motors joins Lotus at a very exciting point in the company's history. Our desirable, benchmark and handcrafted sports cars are consistently being awarded five-star accolades from media around the world. The Lotus business is also growing globally and expanding into new markets, so welcoming even more discerning drivers behind the wheel of this exclusive and British brand."
Lotus looks at the UAE as a key market and one that has the potential for great growth in the future. Lotus Cars Middle East and Adamas Motors are both looking forward to welcoming current as well as new customers in the region to the British brand. The Lotus Dubai showroom also features a configuration room where customers can plan how they want their vehicle in colour and trim, while being ensconced in a comfortable and private space. There is also a customer lounge where guests can relax and enjoy a coffee made by a professional barista. Additionally, customers in Dubai will now be able to service their cars at the British brand's workshop in Al Quoz with customers welcomed to the facility in person or ask for a specialist performance vehicle transporter to take their vehicles to the state-of-the-art service facility.
A brand new showroom in Abu Dhabi will follow the inauguration of the Dubai showroom in the coming months.
