Last month, Lamborghini unveiled its brand-new Urus to the world. It is one of the most anticipated vehicles of recent times. And for the Lamborghini fans here in the UAE, the Urus has been officially launched.
The starting price of the Urus is Dh787,215 (excluding VAT). The launch event took place at Lamborghini Dubai showroom which is located at Shaikh Zayed Road. It is also the firm's largest facility.
Stefano Domenicali, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said, “We are extremely excited to be here today with our partner in Dubai. This is a very important market for us already and even more so now that the Lamborghini Urus, our Super SUV, has arrived.”

Lamborghini Urus is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, V8 that produces 641 bhp at 6,000 rpm and makes 850 Nm of torque at just 2,250 rpm. The massive car is propelled from 0 to 100 kph in a mere 3.6 seconds, 0-200 kph sprint is dealt in just 12.8 seconds, and flat out it's capable to do 305 kph.
Although it's an SUV, it's got Lamborghini's DNA. Therefore, it had to be ruthlessly fast, which it is. In fact, Lamborghini says that the Urus is the fastest SUV out there. In terms of looks, it is huge but hasn't lost the characteristics of its elders. It demands attention, it's got sharp lines, it's got the aggressive look at the front, and the interiors too are very Lamborghini-ish.
The bookings for the Urus are open here in the UAE, and the deliveries of the car will begin by summer of this year.
