Kia was all set to unveil the Sorento crossover in flesh at the Geneva International Motor Show. However, with GIMS cancelled for this year over fears regarding the Corona Virus, we at CarPrices will give you all the details you need of the Korean crossover.
Far more refined than before, the 2020 Kia Sorento brings the brand into a new realm surrounded by sophistication and elegance.
Mr Yaser Shabsogh, CEO, Regional HQs - Middle East & Africa for Kia, said, “We have been eagerly anticipating this reveal for a while now and could not be happier that it will be making its public appearance in Geneva Motor Show this year. We look forward to bringing the all-new Sorento to our region's growing SUV line-up with its sophisticated next-generation design. After marking its international debut, we will be working towards an exclusive regional launch ahead of its availability in our markets”.
The Sorento has been around since 2002, getting bigger in size in 2009. The 2020 Kia Sorento will be in its fourth-generation avatar. As such, it receives a new design, refreshed interiors, and altered dimensions.
For 2020, Kia has given the Sorento a completely new design. Sleeker all-LED headlights and taillights, and rakish bodywork - the Sorento signals a new generation of Kia SUVs that include the Seltos, Sportage, and Telluride. Kia's global network of design studios in Korea, Europe, and North America.
Inside, the midsize SUV gets a new infotainment system, increased practicality, and premium materials. Kia claims the new Sorento will get the highest quality interior spaces found in Kia to date. The crossover's cabin is intuitive, tech-laden, and versatile, retaining the spaciousness and three-row comfort that the Sorento is known for.
The 2020 Kia Sorento will arrive in the UAE, commanding a slight premium over the model it replaces, which is priced starting from AED 86,050.
