  • Honda to offer delivery riders, not limited to the Honda brand, a free safety check in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

  • Riders will also receive a complimentary pre-packed meal while they wait for their motorcycle safety check to be completed

Al-Futtaim's Trading Enterprises, the official distributor of Honda in the UAE, announced today an initiative to support delivery riders across Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the month of August.
Honda will be providing delivery riders who visit their Umm Ramool, Dubai and Umm Al Nar, Abu Dhabi service centres, free safety checks including but not limited to, checking and adjusting oil and fluid levels, lubrication of chain, brakes and clutch adjustment, switches and lighting function with bulb replacements where necessary to ensure their motorcycles are running as efficiently and safely as possible.
From 14th - 19th August in Dubai and 21st - 26th August in Abu Dhabi, delivery riders who ride any brand of a commercial motorcycle can have their bike inspected by experienced Honda factory-trained technicians while receiving a complimentary pre-packed meal as they wait. Each appointment will be completed in less than 30 minutes to ensure minimal disruption to their schedules.
Rhett Maxwell, Honda UAE's General Manager at Al-Futtaim's Trading Enterprises, said, “We feel privileged to support the local community of riders in the UAE. We are lucky to live in cities that offer wonderful convenience across the UAE but must always remember the dedicated riders who are braving the busy roads every day to ensure we get our deliveries.  Honda's complementary safety checks and meal are a small gesture from us to let riders know we recognise their hard work and diligence.”
Maxwell added, “At Honda, we are proud to embody Al-Futtaim's brand values of being a force for good with this activation and look forward to supporting delivery riders across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.”
To avail of their complimentary safety inspection, riders need only bring their Emirates ID with them from 14th - 19th August in Umm Ramool, Dubai, and 20th - 26th August in Honda Umm Al Nar, Abu Dhabi to receive an on-the-spot appointment.
