Porsche is the first marque to be celebrated for a fourth time on the Central Feature at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2023 has kicked off by revealing its Central Feature Sculpture. Located in front of Goodwood House, the Central Feature at the motorsport event tributes an auto brand each year. The sculpture being placed at the turning circle, becomes a focal point for the event and grabs everyone's attention.

For the year 2023, the Goodwood Festival Of Speed presented a Central feature sculpture showcasing six Porsche models as the festival celebrates and pays tribute to the brand for its 75th anniversary. With this, Porsche has become the first marque to be celebrated for a fourth time on the Central Feature at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

This year, the Festival Of Speed Central Feature displays two predecessors of the iconic Porsche 911, including the 992 generation model presented in a Martini livery. Alongside it, the 997 model is displayed in a Sport Classic avatar with a ducktail spoiler. The third Porsche is the legendary 356, which is the original ancestor of the present-day 911.

The display also includes endurance racers such as the Blaupunkt 962 and its younger sibling the Blaupunkt 963, with the 963 featuring a striking multi-colour 75th anniversary livery from this year's Le Mans 24 Hours. The sixth one is the single-seater Porsche 804, representing the marque's short time in Formula 1 racing.

These iconic vehicles contribute to the rich diversity of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Festival of Speed will witness many legendary, historic and modern cars in 2023 and we are here to cover all of it for you. Stay tuned to our website and connect with us on Instagram to stay updated.
