Ford Makes The F-150 Raptor More Fatal; Gives New Off-road Attributes

Ford F-150 Raptor is one of those pickup trucks that you don't want to mess with. The last update that Ford gave to this menacing machine, made it that much more deadly. But, like it's said, 'There's always room for improvement.', Ford decided to give some new off-road features to the Raptor just to satisfy the lust of its bunch of off-road fanatic customers.
So what is all the fuss about? The new F-150 Raptor has been empowered by new electronically controlled suspension setup by FOX. Ford worked with FOX to develop this entire system. It has got Live Valve technology which allows it to make real-time damping adjustments. Ford wanted to make the Raptor go through places which would even scare the owner of the vehicle. To make that possible, there is a suspension travel of 13 inches at the front, and 13.5 inches at the rear.
When such an advanced and comprehensive suspension system meets with Ford F-150 Raptor's Terrain Management System, things get pretty serious. This combination allows the truck to attain high-speeds in off-road conditions while enabling smooth on-road driving performance. Hermann Salenbauch, Global Director, Ford Performance Vehicle Programs, comments on this, “Not many trucks need sensors to detect when you are mid-air. But the Raptor sets the dampers to full stiffness to help smooth shock performance as the truck lands."
He further added, “Raptor's success is rooted in its incredible suspension, superb vehicle control and the confidence the truck instills in its owners. Upgrades to the 2019 F-150 Raptor have improved all three to new levels that the competition will have to benchmark - again."
Next is the Trail Control System. It improves the low-speed (1 kph up to 32 kph) performance of the Raptor by automatically adjusting power and braking for each individual wheel. This allows the driver to divert his concentration and focus completely towards the obstacles ahead.
Other new things that Ford has thrown here is Recaro sports seats, and a bunch of new color options - Ford Performance Blue, Velocity Blue, and Agate Black.
