Bentley has built its 200,000th luxury car. A Bentley Bentayga Hybrid destined for a Chinese customer is the 200,000th model made by the British firm.
Bentley also confirmed that the Bentayga is now their best-selling vehicle with 25,000 units already sold. Currently Bentley produces 85 cars per day which is equal to the number of cars the firm used to produce per month two decades ago.
In order to celebrate the occasion, Bentley parked the Bentayga next to the oldest Bentley in existence - the EXP 2.
The fact that the Bentayga hybrid is the firm's 200,000 model shows that Bentley are heading towards electrification.
“This production of the 200,000th car is just the latest landmark on the extraordinary journey that Bentley has been traveling since its foundation in 1919,” said Adrian Hallmark, Bentley's Chairman and Chief Executive.
