The latest addition to Bentley’s new hybrid range in the UAE is the Flying Spur Hybrid. The third-generation Flying Spur uses a highly innovative engine that makes it the most environmentally friendly Bentley to date. The introduction of the new Flying Spur Hybrid emphasises the marque's commitment to its Beyond100 strategy to become an end-to-end carbon neutral organisation and the world’s leading sustainable luxury mobility company.
The new Flying Spur with its unperceivable blend between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor does not compromise on either luxury or performance aspects.

The Engine of the new Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid

The new powertrain of the Flying Spur Hybrid combines a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine with an advanced electric motor, which generates a total of 543 horsepower and 750 Nm (553 lb. Ft) of torque in comparison to the 506 horsepower of the Flying Spur V8 and 461 horsepower of the Bentayga Hybrid.
The advanced electronic motor produces 135 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb. Ft) of torque and can deliver the full torque instantly for silent acceleration from the start. The rapid response of torque also chops off any delay associated with turbocharger lag.
The Car has a top speed of 284kmph and its plug-in hybrid engine can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 4.3 seconds, beating the Flying Spur V8 in acceleration by 0.3 secs. The Hybrid Flying Spur is also the most efficient Bentley ever, as it has a range of over 700 km when fully fuelled.
The latest Flying Spur hybrid gets three E drive Modes - EV Drive, Hybrid mode and Hold Mode, which enables the driver to manually manage battery usage, though it can also be managed automatically by the car.

More about the New Flying Spur Hybrid

The instrument console additionally displays extra information indicating whether the vehicle is using the combustion engine, regenerating while braking, or driving exclusively in electric drive.
Bentley Motors provides the Flying Spur Hybrid with all of the required market-specific cables, making it easier to charge your car at home or via industrial charge points at work or in public car parks. In addition, customers can also choose a Bentley branded wall box that comes with the car.
External design elements like a ‘Hybrid’ front fender badge, quad oval tailpipes and a covered universal charging point on the left-hand rear fender contribute to differentiating the Flying Spur Hybrid from other Flying Spur models.
The Flying Spur Hybrid comes in seven Bentley paint colours to choose from as a standard. Apart from it, you can also configure the car according to your own taste.

Price of the new Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid in UAE

All Flying Spurs are manufactured at Bentley’s home in Crewe, UK – the world’s first carbon-neutral factory for luxury car production. The Flying Spur Hybrid is now available at the Bentley Emirates showrooms in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi with the price starting from AED 830,000 and goes up to AED 1,300,000.

A word from the Officials

Richard Leopold, Regional Director of Bentley for the UK, Middle East, Africa and India, said, “The Flying Spur has been an overwhelming success in the Middle East, and we are very proud of it. By offering the Hybrid, the ultimate in luxury and an environment-friendly car, we are aiming to bring the unique Bentley experience combined with luxurious performance, while also leading the way in sustainable luxury mobility.”
Joseph Tayar, Director of the Prestige Division of Al Habtoor Motors said, “The new Flying Spur Hybrid symbolises a shift in consumer preference and the changing direction of the automotive industry without compromising on Bentley’s luxury and performance. We are thrilled to present this new addition in the UAE and in Bentley Emirates Showrooms where customers will get the chance to have a first look and personalise their cars to their liking.”
