Edizione Nino Farina's livery pays homage to Giuseppe 'Nino' Farina, the first-ever Formula 1 World Champion and the nephew of Automobili Pininfarina's founder.
Automobili Pininfarina has introduced its latest limited edition supercar, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the marque calls it a "design edition". The Battista Edizione Nino Farina is an extremely limited edition car with only five units to be ever made, it is based on the Pininfarina Battista with some unique and elaborate designing cues.
The Battista Edizione made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, gracefully ascending the Hill in the hands of former record holder Nick Heidfeld.
Details of the Automobili Pininfarina Battista Edizione Nino Farina
The Edizione Nino Farina is finished in a striking colour scheme of ‘Rosso Nino’ and ‘Bianco Sestriere’ colour scheme accentuated by Glorioso Gold wheels and the car features a very special livery that pays homage to Giuseppe 'Nino' Farina, the first ever Formula 1 World Champion and the nephew of Automobili Pininfarina's founder, Battista Farina. On the inside, the car gets contrasting two-tone seats embroidered with bespoke designs on the back and headrests.
Battista's new limited-edition version features a white stripe at the front that smoothly integrates turn signals that the stripe runs across the bonnet, from one headlight to the other. At the rear, it features a unique spoiler, which helps further in making the car more aerodynamic.
Automobili Pininfarina has created an absolute monster, as the Battista pumps out a whopping 1873 horsepower and 2,340Nm of torque, from these unbelievable numbers we can only imagine how powerful this beast of a car is! Pininfarina says that the Edizione Nino Farina is even faster than an F1 car. This incredible machine accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 1.86 seconds and reaches 200kmph in 4.75 seconds.
To achieve an optimal low centre of gravity, the battery is positioned in the central part of the car, encased within a lightweight carbon-fibre shell. Advanced torque vectoring and stability control systems diligently manage the abundant power, ensuring it remains under control.
The thoughtful decision to produce five units of this car is significant. Each one will pay tribute to a particular milestone in Nino Farina’s life. One for his birth, one for each of his three grand prix victories, and one for this triumph at the F1 world championship.
