Arabian Automobiles on Tuesday launched the Infiniti 2019 QX80 in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. The new model of Nissan's luxury auto-wing now comes with a plethora of new features.
The 2019 QX80 adds new features in its palette including the new Smart Rearview Mirror which comes to a flexible display that toggles between an external rear camera and a traditional mirror with the help of a flip-switch under the mirror. Forward emergency braking in the new QX80 comes with a sensor which keeps an eye on vehicles or objects in the lane ahead and automatically applies in the case of an abrupt hindrance.
Apart from that, the SUV also possesses Infiniti's Predictive Forward Collision Warning which senses the vehicle in front and grants an enabling sense of distance to the driver. Additionally, the new QX80 also has an Intelligent Cruise Control which not only maintains a determined top-speed but also adjusts the speed according to the traffic flow on the road.
The QX80 comes with a singular engine variant that consists of a 5.6-litre V8 engine mated to an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). The power and torque output on the car stands at 400bhp at 5,800 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
In the cockpit, the SUV comes with INFINITI InTouchTM Navigation System with 8-inch WVGA colour touch-screen display and voice command function. Other safety features on the SUV includes the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) along with an Around View Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection and parking guidance. Apart from that, the SUV is also enabled with hill start and brake assist along with Cruise control with ASCD (Automatic speed control device).
