Here's everything you need to know ahead of 2025 Nissan Patrol grand reveal in Abu Dhabi

It’s almost time. The 2025 Nissan Patrol will make its highly-anticipated debut on September 3 (Tuesday) at a gala event in Abu Dhabi. Excitement levels among buyers and collectors are quite high considering the fact they’ve waited five years for Nissan to introduce a new Patrol SUV. With that said, here’s everything you should know ahead of Nissan Patrol 2025 launch.

The design and features of the all-new 2025 Nissan Patrol are heavily influenced by the Infiniti QX80, or the SUV’s luxury sibling, as it is known among Nissan fans. But folks can expect Patrol to retain its rugged identity compared to Infiniti’s more streamlined design.

What to expect from Nissan Patrol exterior & interior?

The 2024 Nissan Patrol was hailed as a solid combination of performance and luxury thanks to a bundle of exterior and interior features, as well as performance capabilities. The 2024 model had nine variants, each with its own exquisite features, giving buyers plenty of options to choose from. The SE Titanium variant, for example, came equipped with a city bumper, leatherette seats, 13-speaker Bose® Premium Sound System, power third-row seat, and NissanConnect Services. Compare this with the rest of Nissan Patrol 2024 variants at Carprices.

When it comes to exterior, the 2025 Nissan Patrol is expected to feature a more sleek design with a border front fascia and sharper lines while retaining its muscular build. Those who have already checked out the new Nissan Patrol teaser images may have some idea of the car’s overall silhouette featuring the new wheel design, taillight and grille. As far as the interior goes, expect the maker to equip the new model with:

  • Ambient lighting
  • Multiple-zone climate control
  • Powered and ventilated seats
  • Premium audio
  • Electric tailgate
  • Rear ac vents
  • Panoramic sunroof

New features

There’s no denying that the new Nissan Patrol will be loaded with tons of exciting features. The automotive brand prides itself on having cutting-edge technology required to deliver on premium features to enhance the overall driving experience. Expect Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and cruise control but with a larger infotainment system, as well as an advanced driver assistance system for better lane-keeping and parking.

Nissan has never slept on its safety features. The maker has received widespread acclaim for drivers for enhanced safety features such as Safety Shield 360, front car-park assist and ABS ensuring a secure driving experience. The new Nissan Patrol is expected to retain these features while offering enhanced occupation protection and crash safety with rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection and blind-spot monitoring.

Under the hood

The complete engine specifications will be announced at the launch event for Nissan Patrol, but it is safe to assume that the new car will be powered by the 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission — the same as the QX80. The new model is also expected to offer impressive off-road capabilities with advanced traction control systems, four-wheel drive, and electronic locking differential, and low-range gearing part of standard features.

2025 Nissan Patrol price in UAE

The 2024 Nissan Patrol is priced between AED 206,500* - 398,500* depending on the variant. With its (potential) premium features, new aesthetic and awesome engine capabilities, the new 2025 Nissan Patrol may have an introductory price of AED 250,000.

The new generation is expected to help Nissan offer stiff competition to the Toyota Land Cruiser J300. Last year, Ivan Espinosa, Nissan’s Global Head of Product Strategy and Planning, boldly stated that the new Patrol will be “much better” than the rival Land Cruiser.
