Al-Futtaim Toyota, the official dealer of Toyota in Dubai, has launched the all-new Innova in the UAE, it now comes with a refreshed exterior, an electrified hybrid system, enhanced functionality, increased spaciousness, and improved fuel efficiency compared to its predecessor. It comes loaded with a host of advanced features that cater to the needs of customers seeking a nice family car. The new Innova combines the attributes of a stylish SUV with a multipurpose family car.

Technical Specs of the 2024 Toyota Innova

The new 2024 Toyota Innova is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 150 horses and 118Nm of torque and features two electric motors that produce 111 horses and 206Nm of torque. The engine and electric motors together generates a combined output of 184 horsepower and 209Nm of torque. The system is paired with an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (e-CVT). The Innova provides a fuel economy of 24.3kmpl while it can also be driven entirely on electric power with zero fuel consumption and tailpipe emissions. The batteries are continuously charged through the petrol engine, while decelerating and while braking.

The latest-gen Innova is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which provides a strong frame with a low centre of gravity, resulting in a more enjoyable and safe driving experience. The car has a new MacPherson strut-type suspension at the front and a semi-independent torsion beam suspension at the rear, providing stability, handling and comfort for long drives.

The exterior design of the 2024 Innova has received a thorough refresh, from having a traditional Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) design before to having a more dynamic SUV-like stance now, thanks to its transition to a monocoque chassis from a body-on-frame structure. The all-new Toyota Innova now gets a high-lifted and commanding stance, a bold side profile, and bigger external dimensions at 4,760mm long, 1,845mm wide, and 1,970mm high making it look bigger.

On the front, it features a large hexagonal grille, an extruding hood accompanied by daytime running lights, LED headlights and turn signal lamps that extend towards both corners of the vehicle. The Innova gets a thick underbody which is emphasized by a high-flowing beltline. The strong character lines and wide edges surrounding the rear tires further enhance its looks. The rear design incorporates a sleek black bumper that seamlessly blends with the car's rear over fenders and tailgate, adding a streamlined and stylish touch to the car. Additionally, the Toyota Innova gets optional 16-inch or 17-inch machine-finished, 10-spoke aluminium alloy wheels that further emphasize its aesthetics.
