2024 Porsche Cayenne Makes Its Debut At The Shanghai Auto Show

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne breaks cover at the Shanghai Auto Show. Porsche has updated the Cayenne thoroughly, improving its engine, chassis, design and equipment. This has resulted in better performance, as well as increased everyday comfort. The new Cayenne also features a more advanced display and infotainment system.

Michael Schätzle, Vice President of the Product Line Cayenne said, “The 2024 Cayenne is one of the most extensive product upgrades in the history of Porsche.”

The Cayenne features a new cockpit shared with Porsche Taycan electric sports car's luxurious cockpit. The Porsche Cayenne's instrument console now gets a free-standing 12.6-inch curved driver's display, a 12.3-inch central display that operates the Porsche Communication Management system and a new optional 10.9-inch passenger display. A key feature of the new Porsche Driver Experience is the right balance between digital and analogue elements.

The redesigned control lever for the driver assistance system is directly placed on the steering wheel and the most crucial controls, important to the driving experience surround the steering wheel, including a drive mode switch that allows the driver to choose between Normal, Offroad, Sport, and Sport Plus modes.

The new engine start button is placed to the left of the steering wheel also new automatic gear selector is located just to the right of the steering wheel between the instrument cluster and the central display, making room on the centre console to carry the new air conditioning control panel with stylish analogue controls.

The updated Cayenne boasts a striking appearance and a newly designed front fascia with arched wings, a new hood, and Matrix LED headlights, which emphasize the vehicle's width. While the three-dimensional tail lights and a new rear apron with an integrated number plate holder enhances the rear end design of the new Cayenne.

While the Matrix LED headlights are available as standard, the HD Matrix LED Headlights come as an optional feature. The Cayenne Coupe also offers lightweight sports packages that can reduce weight by up to 33 kg and gives you a choice of 20, 21, and 22-inch wheels. The Cayenne also get three new colour options.
