The 2024 BMW XM Label Red introduced as the most powerful street-legal bimmer ever made. The BMW XM Label Red is a vehicle that is specifically designed to meet the needs and desires of customers who are passionate about experiencing ultimate performance in a car that goes beyond traditional conventions, as it combines a V8 engine with an electric motor. Only 500 units of the XM Label red will be made and the bimmer will be showcased at the Auto Shanghai international motor show in April 2023.

Technical Specifications of 2024 BMW XM Label Red


The M hybrid system of the BMW XM Label Red brings together a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is paired with an electric motor and produces a total output of 748 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque (93hp and 200Nm jump from the standard XM), mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The XM Label Red accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.8 seconds, 0.5 seconds quicker than the standard XM, and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph, but extends to 290kmph in cars equipped with the optional M driver's package. The XM gets an electric-only range of 75-83km and can reach a top speed of 140kmph on electric power only. The power delivery of the electric motor also gets an artificial soundtrack.
The XM Label Red is also equipped with M xDrive all-wheel-drive system and the M Sport differential. Standard equipment for the BMW XM Label Red includes an adaptive M suspension Professional featuring electronically controlled dampers and active roll stabilisation and Integral Active Steering.

The BMW XM Label Red comes with a host of advanced driver assistance features include with Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Evasion Assistant, Alertness Assistant, and Speed Limit Info. Optional Driving Assistant Professional includes Active Cruise Control, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, traffic light recognition, and Active Navigation. Standard Parking Assistant Plus offers a parking view, panorama view, and 3D view.

Exterior details of the BMW XM Label Red

The new BMW XM Label Red is a high-performance car designed exclusively by BMW M GmbH. This makes it the first model since the legendary BMW M1 to achieve such exclusivity, both technically and stylistically. The car features a muscular stance with the illuminated BMW M kidney grille, boasts a front-end design that is identical to luxury BMW models and has clean lines across the body. The XM Label Red comes fitted with 21-inch light-alloy wheels.

The XM flaunts XM badges along with a Toronto Red metallic finish accents on the outside that extend to the badges and wheel inserts. Although customers can also choose a black accent band. The surrounds for the front grille and diffuser elements are finished in Black high-gloss.
The XM Label Red's exterior colour options include one solid and eight metallic variants. Customers also have the option to select from over 50 BMW Individual special paint finishes including BMW Individual Urban Green, BMW Individual Petrol Mica metallic, BMW Individual Anglesey Green metallic, and BMW Individual Sepia metallic.

The limited-edition version of the BMW XM Label Red is designed to be even more exclusive, as its design cues include Toronto Red metallic accents on the BMW M kidney grille surround and rear diffuser insert as well, which contrast with the BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic paint finish.

Interior details of the BMW XM Label Red

Inside the sporty cabin, the XM Label Red features a curved glass display that combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen display and gets the latest generation of the BMW iDrive multi-sensory vehicle experience, which is based on BMW Operating System 8, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The car has Harman Kardon Surround Sound System as standard and an optional Bowers and Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System with a 1,475-watt amplifier and four speakers in the roof area.

The M leather steering wheel of the BMW XM Label Red includes Black Chrome trim elements, M buttons, and gearshift paddles with carbon inlays featuring red plus and minus symbols. The left-hand shift paddle features an exclusive Boost Mode.
The BMW XM Label Red also gets M multifunction seats, knee pads, M-specific content on the BMW Curved Display, a standard BMW head-up display, an M gear selector lever, and an M-specific control panel on the centre console.
The interior of the BMW XM Label Red finished in Merino leather also gets the red and black colour scheme enhancing the car's sporty nature. The Red colour is used at the diamond-shaped upper sections of the backrests and the integrated headrests, while the headliner and the trim for the body pillars have black surfaces.

This is complemented by contrasting red stitching on the black surfaces of the seats, instrument panel, door trim, and centre console along with red accents on the air vents, improving the whole aesthetic of the vehicle. A red "XM" badge and a "1 of 500" plaque below the display, and a Carbon Fibre satin-effect trim strip with red and blue accent threads also enhance the exclusivity of the interior.

Charging the battery of the 2024 BMW XM Label Red

The 25.7kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in just 4.25 hours with 7.4kW AC charging. With an electric-only range of 75-83km and it can reach up to 140kmph on electric power only.

Details on pricing aren't out yet but the BMW XM Label Red can be ordered from dealers from 28 April 2023.
