Nissan has launched the all-new 2023 Nissan Altima in the Middle East, the latest Altima gets aesthetic and innovative upgrades including a completely new front-end design that makes it look sportier than ever Incorporated with the latest tech, the sedan also gets expanded standard safety features and is available with two engine options and is offered across four trim levels - S, Sport, SV and SL.
Exterior updates on the all-new 2023 Nissan Altima
On the outside, the all-new Nissan Altima looks bolder and sportier, the sedan gets a new front fascia design, LED projector headlights with integrated turn signals and an updated iteration of Nissan's V-Motion grille that carries the brand's newly-designed logo. Additionally, the car showcases a recognizable taillight layout and is equipped with a power sliding glass moonroof.
The new Nissan Altima gets 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels for the Altima Sport trim, and 19-inch aluminium-alloy wheels for the SV and SL trims. The Sport trim stands out from the other trim levels as it carries a black-chrome finished grille and unique SR badge. The 19-inch wheels of the SV and SL trim also flaunt the black chrome SR emblems.
The exterior colour options include the new Ethos Grey paint scheme exclusive for the Sport grade and for other variants it gets Scarlet Ember Tintcoat (premium colour), Brilliant Silver Metallic, Grey Sky Pearl, Super Black, Red Burgandy, Pearl White TriCoat, Glacier White, and Deep Blue Pearl.

The vehicle also gets heated front seats and USB charging ports as standard. Intelligent climate control, wireless apple carplay and android auto are standard on SV and SL grades. Talking about the upholstery the sedan gets NASA-inspired Zero Gravity leather seats, and 8-way power adjustable driver's seat.
Technical specifications of the new Altima
The all-new model of the Nissan Altima is available in two engine options - a 2.0-liter Variable Compression (VC) turbo engine and a 2.5-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) DOHC engine.
Available across all trims is an advanced 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder direct injection engine that produces 188 horsepower and 244 Nm of torque, while delivering a fuel efficiency of 17.6kmpl.
Exclusively on the Altima SL model, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder VC-turbo engine makes 248 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque and delivers a fuel efficiency of 16.4kmpl. The VC-Turbo technology by Nissan can adjust its compression ratio between 8:1 and 14:1 using a multi-link system, allowing high performance and high efficiency.
All 2023 Altima models, including both engine configurations, come equipped with a standard Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Paddle shifters with manual shift mode are equipped as standard with the Sport and 2.0 VC-Turbo SL variant.
The Altima has a monotube rear shock with rear stabiliser bars and an advanced sport-tuned front suspension for sportier handling. Besides that, the steering system has a dual-pinion electric power steering mechanism, which requires less effort to steer the car at slower speeds.
Safety features on the 2023 Nissan Altima
On Altima SV and SL variants, Safety Shield 360 comes as standard, it includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. Nissan's advanced ProPILOT system is available as standard on Altima SL and optional on SV.
The SV and SL variants also come with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Rear-view Mirror and Intelligent Driver Alertness, while the standard on the Altima SL grade is Intelligent Lane Intervention and Intelligent Around View Monitor.
