There are many car manufacturers in this world. They belong or originates from different locations or regions and they tend to have at least one product has become their brand identity. For example, the Godzilla - the mighty Nissan GTR. Similarly, for the Americans, specifically for Chevrolet, that role is played by the Corvette. And guess what, the latest, all-new 2019 Corvette ZR1 is now a reality!
Chevrolet came all the way from America to Dubai, UAE to unveil its brand-new Corvette ZR1. This is the latest sports car from the American car manufacturer, and we've been craving for this for too long. We still can't believe that it's here!
Chevrolet has taken its time to develop the new model and they have made sure that everything is perfectly done. To begin with, under the long hood of the new Corvette ZR1 is a gigantic 6.2 litre, LT5, V8 engine that spits out a mind-boggling 755 PS of max power and produces a max torque of 969 Nm! These figures are just insane. How fast does the new ZR1 would go, you ask? Chevrolet says that it has a top speed of 338 kph! Satisfied? This makes it the most powerful Corvette ever! This title was previously boasted off by the Z06, which had a max power of 650 PS.
To make the new Corvette more powerful and faster than ever, Chevrolet has, of course, done many changes in the car. The major implementation is the new intercooler 2.65-liter Eaton supercharger with 52 percent more displacement. Then we've got the dual fuel direct injection system with supplemental port injection (Chevy's first), an upgraded crankshaft, dry sump lubrication, and a new 4-inch throttle body, and an all-new exhaust system which is louder and gruntier than that of the Z06.
The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is one hell of a sportscar. And it surely looks like one too, especially in its new Sebring Orange paint scheme. Even the interiors of the new car have been received a few touches of the same colour. Chevrolet says that the ZR1 would go on sale from the mid of next year, expect somewhere around June 2018.
