Following its elder siblings A7 and A8 into the Middle East, the 2019 Audi A6 has now arrived at Audi Al Nabooda showrooms in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The eighth-generation of Audi's A6 introduces a plethora of innovations to its segment. It comes laden with a host of tech additions coupled with more versatility than before. The design truly speaks Audi's new language with taut surfaces, clear edges and striking lines.
Ali Al Nabooda, General Manager at Audi Al Nabooda, said, “Combining advanced digitalization, comfort and sportiness the new A6 is the all-around talent in its segment, setting a new standard in the premium class. It is the ideal choice for high-mileage drivers, fleet customers and commuters, featuring new convenience functions and reduced noise level designed to improve comfort and efficiency on long journeys.”
On The Outside
Audi's design language is known to find a sweet spot in the grey area between luxury and sportiness. The same can be seen on the new A6, evident from the distinctive all-LED headlamps and taillights, classy profile and a tweaked front fascia.
For the latest model year, Audi has provided the A6 with 14 colours. Customers can also choose to equip the car with sport and design trim lines, as well as the S-Line exterior package. This S-line body kit adds extra flesh to the A6, gracing it a mean sporty stance. All of this rests on Audi's 20-inch wheels and sports suspensions that can be availed as a part of the S-line package.
On The Inside
Over time Audi has been reputed for greatly pampering its driver and passengers. Faithfully deriving the ethos of its elder siblings, the A6 combines the right amount of technology and quality. A generous amount of space is coupled with a host of convenience features and a silent cabin. Exactly what you need in a luxury sedan.
The latest iteration comes with Audi's latest MMI system with haptic and acoustic feedback for quick and intuitive operation. Also making the 2019 Audi A6 a smart business-class sedan are a full range of navigation and infotainment offerings. The new adaptive driving assistant now supports longitudinal and lateral controls that help the car be in the same lane irrespective of how narrow it might be.
Apart from the safety features that are inherited from the outgoing model, the 2019 A6 comes with new aluminium-intensive monocoque construction. The company claims that this Audi Space Frame can take the worst of hits without affecting its occupants.
Engine
At the heart of it all is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 motor that is good for 335hp and 500Nm. All this combine helps the car lunge to a ton in 5.1 seconds with an electronically-limited top speed of 250kph.
