Mercedes AMG G65 is one of the most appealing vehicles that money can buy. However, a few weeks ago Mercedes confirmed the news that it is going to discontinue it. We can’t figure out the reason behind this as there can be many. However, Mercedes just can’t let go of it like that. So, it launched a Final Edition of the car to bid farewell.

Mercedes is well aware of the fact that the AMG G65 holds a special place in the automobile industry and therefore, it will manufacture only 65 units of the Final Edition model. This model will set you back by 310,233 Euros.

The Mercedes AMG G65 Final Edition doesn’t look that different from a regular G65. But Mercedes has done a few alterations here and there to provide that special feeling. The Final Edition model gets large 21-inch alloy wheels painted in bronze and to compliment those there are silver brake calipers. A few AMG trim elements can be found on the bumpers, wheels and rearview mirrors. The front end has a matte black radiator grille with the company’s chrome logo sitting in the centre. We’ve always liked the way the G65 looked; elegant yet demanding.

The AMG G65 looks like a mini tank from outside, but don’t let it fool you because it has an opulent cabin. Mercedes never backs out to provide luxurious interiors in its products and the G65 is not an exception. It has designo black Nappa leather, seat side bolsters in a carbon-fibre look and topstitching in light brown, carbon-fibre trim elements, decorative stitching in bronze, milled Edition lettering in the grab handle, an AMG Performance steering wheel in black Nappa leather and the Seat Comfort package. Everything to make sure to feel you very special (and safe) cocooned in this brutal machine.

Powering the Final Edition model of the AMG G65 is a 6.0 litre, V12 engine which spits out a whopping 630 bhp of power and 1000 Nm of torque from as low as 2300 rpm. These figures help this mini tank to do the 0-100 kph sprint in just 5.3 seconds! And flat-out, it can do speeds of 230 kph. It comes equipped with AMG Speedshift PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission that makes sure that the power is delivered to the necessary wheel at the exact moment without any delay.
