Al-Futtaim Toyota Launches All-New Toyota Rush

Al Futtaim Toyota has launched a brand-new nameplate in the UAE, the Toyota Rush. The version introduced here is in the second-generation Toyota Rush compact SUV. It competes against the likes of the Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and the Renault Captur.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre in-line four petrol engine with a maximum output of 103hp and maximum torque of 135Nm. The engine is EURO 4 compliant and is coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission and is available as a front wheel drive only with no 4×4 variant currently on sale, making the Renault Duster the only 4×4 in this segment.

The all new Toyota Rush is available with 7 seats however, a big plus and with the familiar Toyota reliability and brand presence in the UAE, the Rush might just go on to beat every other competitor in the market when it comes to sales.

There is only one variant on sale at the time of launch. The EX trim comes standard with fabric seats, central locking, power windows, keyless push button start and automatic air conditioning.

Steering mounted audio controls are also standard. The Toyota Rush comes with dual front airbags as well as side curtain airbags as standard and tyre pressuring monitoring system.

Price for the EX variant is AED 68,500 and the Toyota Rush is now available at your local Toyota Al Futtaim showroom for a test drive.
