INFINITI has launched the 2023 INFINITI QX55 crossover coupe SUV across the middle-east. One year after its debut the crossover coupe SUV has returned with a bolder design, more luxury amenities and features. INFINITY says that The soul of the iconic INFINITI FX lives on in the 2023 QX55.

The new and updated INFINITI QX55 comes in 3 grades – Luxe, Essential, and Sensory, with Luxe being the base level grade and Sensory being the top-of-the-line grade.

Exterior details of the 2023 INFINITI QX55

The exterior design of the QX55 is inspired by the iconic INFINITI FX that pioneered the coupe-crossover segment nearly 20 years ago. The new INFINITI QX55 comes with a stunning silhouette and muscular exterior design along with a boldly angled roofline.

The front design of the car features INFINITI’s geometric inner mesh grille, LED headlights and Fog lights with black surround bracketing the lower half. The QX55 Essential and Sensory variant gets adaptive front lights with unique cube LED headlights.

At the back, the QX55 has a clean and streamlined look, features a roof spoiler, and a rear wiper and carries the INFINITI logo on the power tailgate. The distinctive tail lights on the QX55 look aggressive in shape and its piano pattern provides depth and dimension. On the QX55 Sensory grades, the tailgate gets a motion-activated sensor that allows you to open it with a simple swipe of the foot. The 20-inch alloy wheels come as standard across all variants.

Interior details of the new INFINITI QX55

All the grades of the new INFINITI QX55 2023 feature two high-resolution touchscreens for both vehicle infotainment and controls. The QX55 provides wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto compatibility. The crossover QX55 also gets Bose Performance Series audio system with 16 speakers, Standard active noise cancellation, and five USB ports as standard.

All-new QX55 gets additional features for the 2023 model which include advanced driver assistance systems, including ProACTIVE with Intelligent Cruise Control standard on all variants. Essential and Sensory grades also get a 9-inch Head-Up Display, which projects vehicle information onto the driver’s line of sight.

The QX55‘s zero gravity front seats provide comfort to the driver and front passenger. The Luxe grade‘s interior boasts authentic leather and laser-cut stitching on all seats, door panels, and dashboard, creating a unique and defining look. On the Essential grade and higher variants, front seats are temperature controlled too.

Three interior colour combinations are available for the QX55 interior, with stunning Monaco Red/Graphite available exclusively for the Sensory grade.

Technical details of the new INFINITI QX55 2023

All the INFINITI QX55 models are powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder VC-Turbo engine that produces 268 horsepower and 380Nm of torque. The VC-Turbo engine of the QX55 is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that uses shift-by-wire technology. The luxury crossover also gets an intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) system as standard.

The vehicle also features paddle shifters and INFINITI’s Drive Mode Selector, which provides multiple driving modes like- Standard, ECO, Sport, and Personal, for the driver’s preference. The engine automatically switches its compression ratio between 8:1 and 14:1 to deliver maximum power or fuel economy depending on the driving conditions.

The QX55‘s drivetrain system can adjust power distribution between the front and rear axles based on the driver’s preference, optimizing fuel efficiency or acceleration. Additionally, the vehicle’s Active Brake Limited Slip technology enables individual wheel braking, improving side-to-side grip for better handling and control.
