The Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2020 comes with a 2.5L, DOHC engine and two electric motors - one in the front and the other one in the rear that produces a combined power of 240 bhp and 237 Nm of torque. It comes with an ECVT transmission which makes the Highlander Hybrid manage fuel economy of anywhere between 14 to 15 kmpl which is pretty impressive for an SUV that weighs 2,950 kgs. It has a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system but the rear wheels are powered purely by its electric motor.
