Earlier this month, Audi unveiled the new A6 in the Middle East. The potent moniker from the German automaker's line-up arrived with a plethora of innovations to its segment.
Ahead of this, the brand's German brand's rivals BMW and Mercedes-Benz graced the UAE with the 5-Series and E-Class respectively. While all the three are closely prices with similar performance and collaterals. Here is a comparo to settle them all.
Design
The new Audi A6 is in its eighth generation and has been graced with plenty of cosmetic tweaks to stand out from its predecessors. Compared to the outgoing model, the new Audi A6 gets a new front sill and LED headlamps. In addition to this, Audi has provided the new A6 with 14 colours.
Over the years, the Mercedes-Benz has earned the reputation to manufacture pure executive sedans. However, in the past few decades, the company has been trying out new looks to reflect its engine's capabilities through its looks. A perfect moniker for that is the E-Class. Design cues on the E-Class operate in the sweet grey area between a chauffeured executive car that one might travel to office and a sporty car to have fun on the weekends.
BMW has been known to carry out similar designs for all its vehicles. Heck, until the inclusion of giant grille, even the 7-Series was identical to its younger siblings. However, the new 5-Series stands out with its newly shaped DRLs and front sills.
