2022 Hyundai Tucson Review | People Mover Just Got Better

In this video, I get you the 2022 Hyundai Tucson review. A new and improved compact SUV. With the increasing competition can it hold up against them? We find out that in this video.

The new Hyundai Tucson was introduced in 2021 in UAE. Its design does seem to be inspired by a fair few models. The previous versions used to be subtle and less aggressive but with the new Tucson 2022, there is a completely new design language adopted for it.

Powering the Hyundai Tucson 2022 is a 2.5-Litre, 4-cylinder, GDi engine that produces 187bhp and 242Nm of torque. It comes with the HTRAC AWD system. While the power is to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Since it is a compact SUV, it focuses on being fuel-efficient too and it returns a fuel economy between 10 to 11kmpl during the daily runabouts.

On the inside, things look slightly freshened up and upgraded in terms of the material quality. Although, much of the interior is still plagued with a lot of plastic and less squidgy materials. You now find a driver's display and an infotainment screen. The 2022 Tucson offers the largest boot space of 620-litres in its segment. It still essentially focuses on being a practical spacious car.

The new Tucson competes with Toyota RAV4, Hyundai CR-V, Volkswagen T-Roc, Ford Escape, Kia Sportage, Skoda Karoq and Nissan Kicks.
