2021 Cadillac Escalade Review | True Luxury SUV With Rich Features

The second generation of the Cadillac Escalade is a true luxury SUV with rich features. Cadillac has been allowed to deliver what we have always believed it's capable of. An ultra-luxurious SUV. The specific model I reviewed was the 2021 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum.

The new Cadillac Escalade has improved in every single department. It has the newly designed Cadillac interiors which are inspired by the Cadillac Escala concept car showcased in 2016. The 2021 Escalade has a massive 38-inch 4k OLED curved display that controls pretty much every single function on the car. Complementing that is 36-speaker AKG surround sound system, that immerses you in quality with speakers mounted in the headrest. The Escalade also gets the OnStar services which is an in-vehicle safety and security system.
Under the bonnet of the new Escalade, you will find a 6.2-litres, V8 engine which is shared across different models in General Motor's lineup namely Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon Denali. This engine produces 420 HP and 624 Nm of torque which is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Escalade also comes with adaptive air suspension for sublime ride comfort and a four-wheel drive (4WD) system to achieve off-road performance with an electronic slip differential in the front and rear axle.
The new Escalade chassis offers 40% more third-row legroom and 68% extra cargo space behind the third row of seats when compared to the previous generation of the Escalade. The Escalade has grown by 3% in total but the clever space management on the inside gives you that extra space.
The latest generation of the Cadillac SUV goes head to head with Ford Lincoln, Range Rover Sport and Infiniti QX80.
