Bentley is commemorating two significant milestones, one being the 20th anniversary of their sixth win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other being the 100th anniversary of the legendary race itself, by introducing a limited edition of Continental GT Coupés and Continental GTCs based on Le Mans winning Speed 8 race car from Bentley.
Bentley initially had a shaky start at Le Mans, but quickly turned things around with a factory entry in 1924 and five wins in the following decade. In 2001, they returned with the EXP Speed 8 and after a three-year program, Bentley's two factory Speed 8s finished first and second in the 2003 Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Under the hood, the Le Man's edition Continental GT and Continental GTC are equipped with the Bentley W12 engine, which is the brand's most successful engine to date. The Le Mans collection is limited to 48 units only and features unique exterior and interior details that pay tribute to the design of the Le Mans-winning Bentley Speed 8 #7.

Crafted by Mulliner, the limited edition of Continental GTs and Continental GTCs gets a Verdant green paint job, with a Moonbeam racing stripe that runs across the bonnet and coupé's roof inspired by the Le Mans-winning Speed 8 #7. While the carbon-fibre Styling specification includes black body components with a Moonbeam pinstripe, the Blackline specification pays homage to the Speed 8's black and green livery. Beluga black is used for the lower front bumper, wing mirror caps, and the rear "horseshoe" section.
The Le Mans Collection Continental's front fascia features a unique matrix grille with #7 written on it, the grille was made to protect the radiator on the unpaved Le Man's racetrack of the 1920s. The cars have 22-inch ten-spoked black alloy wheels and carbon ceramic brakes with red brake calipers.

The special edition cars' cockpit is covered in Beluga hide and features a unique 2003 wreath welcome lamp. The upholstery is finished in performance-bred napped Dynamic fabric with contrast stitching and has Hotspur seatbelts. The steering wheel is embellished with Dynamica and Hotspur contrast stitching, and there's also a six o'clock accent tab.
Every model in the Le Mans Collection comes equipped with the versatile Bentley Rotating Display with a choice of a touchscreen, dual veneer, or analogue dials.
Le Mans Collection Bentleys feature many bespoke details including Speed 8 sill plates, six-wreath treadplates, digital 24-hour clock and a fascia with the six-wreath insignia engraved into high-gloss carbon fibre. With Piano Black and high gloss carbon fibre with a fine chrome pinstripe, the dual-finish veneer on the fascia and door waist rails looks stunning.

The Le Mans Collection Continental GTs and GTCs are powered by Bentley’s renowned 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine that produces 650 horsepower and 900Nm (664 lb. ft) of torque, resulting in a top speed of 335kmph and acceleration from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
The new limited edition cars combine four chassis innovations to provide the level of performance and ride quality expected from a vehicle with such heritage. A strong foundation for the vehicle's balance is provided by Bentley Dynamic Ride and three-chamber active air suspension, while optional Carbon Ceramic Brakes, variable electronic stability control, all-wheel steering, and an electronic limited slip differential increase performance and agility.
