2023 Toyota Veloz MPV Launched In UAE, Offers A 1.5-Liter Four-Cylinder Engine

Toyota Al Futtaim motors has launched the new seven-seater Veloz, focusing on the comfort and functionality of a family car. The new Veloz offering an elegant design, practical performance and improved handling, sits in the MPV segment.

On the outside, the new Veloz features a sleek design with a high nose and a large trapezoid grille. The MPV offers responsive handling and manoeuvrability, with a 5.0-meter turning radius. The sleekly mounted LED headlamps and chrome mouldings give a neat, yet sporty look to the car.
The side part of the car features strong character lines stretching from the front to the rear. At the back, the long rear combined taillights emphasize the wide stance of the vehicle. The new Veloz is equipped with 17-inch machined finished 10-spoke aluminium wheels that further enhance its looks and appeal.
The MPV comes with six colour options - Platinum White Pearl, Siler Metallic, Grey Metallic, Dark Red Metallic, Black Metallic, and the newly developed Purplish Silver Metallic colour.

The new Toyota Veloz offers space and comfort to the passengers, its spacious cabin is complemented by ambient lighting and gets a stylish black and grey colour treatment. It features three row seats that have ample room for 7 passengers, while the second and third rows can be folded together or individually and can carry more cargo, including longer items. Also comes with an ISOFIX safety system, which attaches baby seats securely.
The MPV features a 7-inch colour Multi-Information Display (MID) and an 8-inch multimedia screen, that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with bluetooth connectivity. The vehicle also comes with a wireless charging pad and three dedicated USB charging ports for the first and second rows, along with two 12V sockets for powering other kinds of devices.
The MPV gets three driving modes - ECO, Normal, and Power, which can be chosen to suit a variety of driving conditions and styles. Additional features include a 6-speaker sound system, an automatic air conditioning system with a rear control panel, rear sonar, and smart entry and start systems.
Just like other Toyota models, the Veloz comes with an array of safety features. These include six SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Brake hold function, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Traction Control (TRC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), and a Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS).

Technical specifications of the 2023 Toyota Veloz

The new Toyota Veloz features a four-cylinder 1.5-litre four cylinder engine with 16-valve DOCH and dual VVT-I, which produces 105 bhp and a maximum torque of 138 Nm (102 pound-feet). Paired with a seven-speed CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), it delivers powerful and smooth acceleration. With a fuel consumption of 19.3 km/l, the mpv is one of the most practical family cars launched in the UAE.
The MPV features a newly developed strut-type front suspension from MacPherson, while the rear is equipped with a new torsion beam suspension system along with the rigid body structure which contributes to outstanding handling, stability and ride comfort, even on rough roads or with multiple passengers.

Pricing of the 2023 Toyota Veloz

The 2023 Toyota Veloz is on sale in UAE from Toyota Al-Futtaim motors, which is also the exclusive distributor of Toyota cars in the region. Prices start from AED 79,900.
