Foton Motor, commonly known as Foton, is a Chinese automotive manufacturer specializing in producing commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. The company was established in 1996 as a subsidiary of the Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd. (BAIC). Initially, Foton focused on manufacturing heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles, catering to the transportation and logistics sectors in China.
