Which is the First Company in the UAE to Order Tesla Semi Truck?

Tesla unveiled its Semi truck in Nov last year and impressed a whole bunch of people. The Semis haven’t been sent into the production yet, but certain companies are well aware of its value and excellence and hence have started booking some. Do you know which company in the UAE is the first one to order the Tesla Semi Trucks?

Bee’ah is an environmental management company and it has ordered 50 Tesla Semi trucks. Bee’ah made this announcement during the World Future Energy Summit that took place during 15th to 18th January in Abu Dhabi.

Speaking on this, His Excellency Salim Al Owais, Chairman of Bee’ah, said, “We are extremely pleased to turn towards Tesla for a solution that enhances our leadership of sustainable practices in the region. As a company that strives to be the best in our field, we only work with partners that we consider to be the best in theirs.”

Bee’ah will use the Semi trucks for waste collection and transportation. Being an environmental management company, Bee’ah already has many unconventional vehicles which include electric vehicles, CNG powered vehicles, bio-diesel powered vehicles. The addition of 50 Tesla Semi trucks will help the company to reduce its carbon footprint.

Tesla claims that its Semi truck is capable of covering 805km on a single charge. It also guarantees 1.6 million km of usable life with a load of 36,287 kilograms. Tesla has stated that its Semi truck will enter production in 2019 and should start delivering to its owners by 2020. So, we can expect to see them in the Middle East in 2020.
