VIDEO: Lamborghini Teases A New Huracan Performante
Lamborghini has released a video in which it has teased a new Huracan Performante. Is it going to be a Spyder variant of the car? We’ll find out on 6 March at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Huracan Performante is one of the fastest production cars in the world. Lamborghini has perfected the art of aerodynamics on this one and calls it the ‘Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva’, and the massive 5.2-litre V10 engine aids the car to set some serious lap times. It has got 631 bhp of power and 600 Nm of torque. It rockets from 0 to a tonne in just 2.9 seconds, and flat out it will do a top speed of 325 kmph.
It’s quite likely that the new Huracan Performante that Lamborghini has teased in the video is going to be the Spyder (roadster) variant of the original car. We’ve already seen a few spy shots of the same in the past. Lamborghini would use the same 5.2-litre V10 engine on this one. Yes, we miss the lovely V12 but hey, you know how quick the Performante is, right? The power and torque figures are more or less going to be similar.
That’s it for now. A few more days and we’d get to see the latest avatar of the Huracan Performante in flesh in Geneva. We’ll be covering the event thoroughly so stay tuned for more.
