Suzuki is aggressively creating new cars in the hopes to build their brand and add to their lineup of cars in the hope to diversify and upscale their brand. They have also been trying out to increase their brand value with luxury options and their third attempt to upscale their brand is the launch of the Suzuki Ciaz which is a luxury sedan that boasts of new features, creature comforts and design cues that give it an expensive look. The Suzuki Ciaz is a huge step forward from the SX4. There is a three mouthed chrome grill with a large logo. The projector lamps, the lower fender add a nice touch.
The 16 inch alloys are probably the most striking design in an otherwise normal design. The rear taillights is similar to those in Honda City but houses a practical boot of 510 liters making it usable. Even though the design is not going to please everyone, the interiors are a great place to be with the dual coloring of the dash with black on top, wooden in the center and the beige on the bottom making the cabin airy and light.
The top end trim comes with loads of features and the cabin is well laid out with practical passenger comfort. The car is comfortable to drive in traffic and although not exciting in any way, it will give a proper pull to get it going. The 1.4L petrol engine puts 95hp and 132Nm of torque and has been tweaked from the Eritga setup and now is more adequate to take on city duties offering good economy.
