The new 2017 Subaru XV is a huge leap for the Japanese brand and an important vehicle in the perspective of overall brand value for this car. The smaller SUVs are taking over the market than ever before with their hatch like practicality and SUV like space inside. Although the XV came into being long back, also came along more competition fading the XV out of the limelight. To keep up the 2017 Subaru XV tries hard to stand out as a worthy successor for the older model.
When the XV came at first, there were hardly 10 competitors but now more than 20 cars in concern. The new generation XV Subaru thinks is more off-road worthy than ever before. In the orange paint job that is also comes with, it looks funky and the styling of the car is aggressive and cute in a way making the car stand out for being rugged and gorgeous at the same time. The symmetrical all wheel drive system borrows some tech from the Forester including the X-mode off road system that make it a better off-road capable vehicle.
You get a hill-descent control which also works in reverse and with 220mm of ground clearance which is more than required. The XV looks like Impreza with more space than the previous generation models. The passenger cabin is very practical as well. The 2.0L four cylinder boxer engine that puts 154hp and 196Nm of torque is adequate for the car and sometimes even though might feel underpowered the car offers decent economy to back that up. The XV is excellent in so many ways and with the update is very desirable for a lot in the market.
