Every car manufacturer is coming with their SUV versions and Lamborghini also released their concept SUV that is set to dominate the sector. It is evident that if any brand needs to survive, SUVs are the way to go and hence sports car manufacturers are all setting their foot on the SUV platform. In this regard, the MG brand also has their MG GS which is an SUV from a previously sports car oriented car manufacturer. The MG GS has a smart design going for it with a small grill, shorter wheelbase, broad shoulder lines, and a slick rear tail light section makes the car look good.
Against the competition, what the MG has in its favor is usually the affordability making it a value buy in the market. The interior design is neat with shiny plastics that run in between the dashboard and a multitude of buttons in the center console. There are three trims with the entry level coming with 17-inch wheels, air con, USB, cruise control, electric mirrors and automatic lights and comes with white or black color options only.
The excite comes with leather steering wheel, DAB digital radio, rear parking sensors and a parking camera and the top trims come with leather seats, electric and heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, side steps, roof bars, and satellite navigation. The passenger cabin has adequate head room and knee room and the boot is adequate. The car has a 1.5L turbo charged petrol engine that puts the power to the front wheels of up to 170hp and comes with a 6-speed manual or a new 7-speed dual clutch automatic making it an excellent car.
