The MG 6 was initially launched in 2007 and the company as a whole has had its ups and downs. They were offering around two cars and they have somehow slowly expanded their lineup. Despite its short life span in the market, the MG 6 has evolved in rapidity to keep it modern, fresh and competitive in rather known brand lot. The car has improved its exterior looks, interior design, quality and performance to make it a comprehensive upgrade. This car goes against Skoda Octavia, Open Insignia et al. The car looks good with its small and smart grill with the MG brand.
The lower bumper is sporty with fog lights and the rear end is well done. The interiors are dark and the top end comes with leather seats and steering wheel, dual zone climate control, reverse camera and a 7-inch touch screen. The cabin is comfortable and the passenger seats are also adequate with enough knee and head room. The boot is 500 liters and offers decent storage space. There is a sloping roof line on the car that adds a sporty character to it without encroaching into the head room for the rear passengers.
The car has is adequately powered with a 1.8L turbo charged engine that puts 158hp and 215Nm of torque. All this power is put down by a 5-speed manual gearbox and the power goes to the front wheels. With a fuel tank capacity of 62 liters, the car can do long distances and the power assisted steering will keep things easy and light for the driver in city and highway driving conditions.
