German sedans are great to drive but they come at a premium which not many people would want to put on a car. For those, there is a taste of France with the Citroen C5 which offers the sedan experience without the huge price tag that the Germans carry. This looks like a compact executive car with sharp lines making it stylish yet practical in many ways. The dashboard is also greatly designed with up-market soft touch materials all around the cabin area and impressive equipment that it comes with like climate control, cruise control, and anti-skid control making it great features as standard.
Citroen C5 has a very good load lugging capacity with a wide entry point thanks to the curved rear windows helping you carry a lot of luggage and the seats can also be folded and lay flat. The rear seats are also plenty comfortable with knee room and generous head room and is able to carry three people which is impressive for this car. There are many petrol engines on offer and can be chosen based on the needs. The higher spec cars also are very quiet inside with laminated side glass.
The hydro-pneumatic suspension on the top trims makes you feel like you are floating on the road but the standard trim suspensions are also comfortable to ride on. The car has a multitude of buttons that might need some getting used to but once done will be easy to use. In the segment the Citroen C5 is in, it is one of the sharpest looking and better-riding cars that will serve you well in the city and decently on the highway as well.
