When you see a James Bond movie featuring an Aston Martin car, you know that this means sophistication and outright performance without any compromises. Aston Martin was laying low for some time and did not release any new models until the new Aston Martin DB11. They named it DB11 skipping 10 as the previous number was DB09, telling the world that this is a better car that can skip a name. One ride on this thing and you will bet that it is a GT and not a full on sports car as the ride is incredibly comfortable, more so than the Ferrari with adaptive dampers on it.
The engine is a 5.2L turbo charged V12 monster that makes 600hp and 700Nm of torque that will rocket it to hit a 100kmph in 3.9 seconds with its slick shifting eight-speed automatic gearbox that comes with paddle shifters. You get dampers with adjustable modes to keep it GT smooth or race worthy sharp. The car has a wide hip and a wide front with tires that stick out giving a retro-modern appeal. It might not be photogenic but it is stunning in the flesh.
The interiors are of very high quality and are simple with leather all over the place, carbon fiber in the center console that houses the Mercedes infotainment and the all digital display which is a new direction for Aston Martin looks very promising and clear. The noise insulation is excellent and it serves as a reasonably comfortable car. Put it in its aggressive setting and the car will roar and slide about testing the mettle of the driver as the limits of this car is only limited by the man who wields it.
