Ladies and gentlemen, one of the most anticipated cars of 2021 is here – the all-new Porsche 911 GT3.

This latest iteration of the GT3 has a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine with a redline of 9,000rpm. As a result, the GT3 has 502 horsepower and 469 Newton-meters of torque on offer which might not sound like a lot but the GT3 has never been a car to boast outright engine power but one that offers an overall balance of performance.

0-100kph takes 3.2 seconds in the PDK version and flat-out the GT3 will go on to reach 317kph. What’s more mind-boggling is this car’s Nürburgring lap time of 6 minutes and 59.927 seconds. To put that into context, the previous GT3 lapped the Nürburgring in 7:12.7 minutes.

The GT3 also features an all-new double-wishbone suspension along with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the back. This is the same setup as the last generation GT3RS. There is a choice of a six-speed manual and seven-speed PDK gearbox which isn’t the same as the 8-speed PDK that the rest of the current 911s get.

On the outside, you will find a lovely manually adjustable swan-neck-mounted rear wing that offers a whopping 160 per cent more downforce than the previous gen 911 GT3. The front lip spoiler and adjustable diffuser further add to the downforce which is considerably more compared to the outgoing version. Weight saving was one of the major things on Porsche’s agenda and so it comes as no surprise that the hood, rear wing and the spoiler are made from carbon fibre reinforced plastic.

On the inside, you will find a ‘track screen’ mode which will give you all the track-oriented information like tyre pressures and oil temperatures along with shift lights and real-time driving information similar to the ones you see on the Porsche Track Precision app.

All in all, the GT range has some of the most bonkers road legal cars mankind has ever seen and Porsche continues to push the envelope with the all new 2022 GT3.

The new car is currently on sale and pricing in the UAE starts at a reasonable AED 628,000. However, a few personal touches to the options list and you can see that price pass well over AED 700,000.
