Porsche has started testing its new 911. The test mules of the same have been spotted on the roads of Georgia and a few spy pictures have come up on the Internet.

It seems that Porsche has focused all of its attention on making the rear of the new 911. As it can be seen in the pictures that the rear end of the test mule has got a single wide tail light which runs across the entire width of the car. While this is a new design but we’ll have to see how well it would be received by the audience if this goes into production. Looks are always subjective but we think that this wide red light flashing on the face of the driver and front passenger of the car moving behind a new Porsche 911, that would be too much.

The rear bumper has gone through some new implementations but whether they will be forwarded to the production model or not, is not yet decided. Since there is a lot of tape-work going on the bumper, hence it could be just a temporary thing that Porsche is just testing out.

Just like most of the 911s, the front end of the new 2019 model remains mostly unchanged. The bonnet has just received a shape change, with a more squarish design. Also, there are new grooves in the front bumper.

That’s all that we can tell from the spy pictures. Maybe Porsche hasn’t paid much attention to the exterior of the new 911 as it might have done better with its interior, maybe we would see elements borrowed from the new Panamera and Cayenne.

At this point, there are no further details available of the 2019 Porsche 911. The company haven’t said a word about it. These are the first spy shots of the car that we’ve seen and many more would come in the future. We’d need to wait to get hands on the complete specifications of the new car.
