Tesla Eyeing To Increase Production Of Model 3

Tesla is preparing itself to increase the production of its most affordable car, the Model 3. At present, Tesla is capable of producing 1000 units of Model 3 per month at its Gigafactory. But it is still not enough to meet the deadlines.

Tesla wants to increase the number from 1000 units to 6000 units per month. To achieve that, special robots have been imported from Europe and will be installed at the Gigafactory. These new robots will allow Tesla to create another production line, and hence, increase the output.

The Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable car and is highly in demand. Tesla is also planning to launch an all-wheel-drive model of Model 3 in the near future. Apart from this, Tesla also has to launch its all-new Model Y compact SUV by the end of this year or early next year. We hope that Tesla’s new strategy to increase production of Model 3 would help it to keep its schedule in check and we will get to see the Model Y as per the promised timeline.
