In this review, I get you the Ford Mustang GT convertible review. This is the 6th generation of the Ford Mustang and Ford is expected to bring in a new model of the Mustang by 2022 end.
So, the 2021 Ford Mustang GT and 2022 Ford Mustang GT will remain exactly the same and no new changes will be taking place for now until the new one comes over. The model I tested was a Ford Mustang V8 that comes with a proper 5.0-litre V8 engine giving it a proper American muscle car feel.
So the 2022 Mustang GT comes with a 5.0-Litre, V8 engine that produces 460bhp and 529Nm that is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. Though a V8, it still manages to give a fuel economy between 8 to 9kmpl. There is also a 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine option available if you want the Mustang to be a lot more efficient and friendlier to your pockets.
On the inside, the Mustang remains unchanged compared to the 2021 Mustang GT. The interior now houses a 12.3-inch driver's display but the graphics tend to be slightly confusing with lots of dots, dashes and numbers plaguing the display. While the dashboard design still has elements linking it to the older Mustangs. There is an 8-inch TFT infotainment screen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options.
