Porsche Middle East Is Having A Stellar 2021
Porsche has recorded a record five-year high in quarterly sales in Middle East and Africa sale. The star of the show has been the Macan as it has accounted for 35 per cent of all new car deliveries. Along side the Macan, the 911 has also recorded its best first quarter result since 2014. Customers have also loved Porsche’s first all-electric car, the Taycan.
The Chief Executive Officer at Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, Dr Manfred Braeunl, said: “These strong performance numbers validate the very positive start to the year. New car deliveries in the first quarter have outperformed our expectations which gives us enormous confidence moving forward and it’s thanks to the entire importer network who have embraced the start of 2021 with so much enthusiasm.
And the good news doesn’t end there for Porsche as the German brand has delivered 71,986 vehicles worldwide and has recorded double-digit growth in all sales regions. With SUVs being in demand worldwide, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Macan and Cayenne are the most in-demand Porsches globally.
We are extremely pleased that the community of Porsche customers continues to grow all over the world, says Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche.
